Flow updates an item during approval process, but column validation prevents updates if the date is older than 7 days, causing flow to fail. How can I bypass this without using list validation, which doesn’t provide an error message to the user?
I have a flow that updates an item as it goes through approval process (status, approver name/comments) I also have a column validation set so a new ticket cannot be submitted for a request more than 7 days prior. The "Update Item" causes the flow to fail if the update is made outside of the 7 day window. How can I get around this without having to add a list validation instead of column? ( I really would rather not do this, as the list validation doesn't give the user error message to pick another day)
