Cancel an Approval Request based on a concurrent Approval

Hi there,

I have an approval workflow that sends three concurrent individual approvals.  It's set up this way to separately record the response and comments of each approver.  Is there a way to write into the flow a process to cancel all pending approval requests as soon as one of them is rejected and then terminate the flow?  Currently the flow stays as "running" as approvers don't respond once they know someone else has rejected it.

    @Dacre ,

    Do you mean you have approvers in parallel branches?

    Hi @SudeepGhatakNZ, that's right, I have three approvals in parallel and would like to cancel any that are still pending if one of them gets rejected.  Is that possible?

    Regards,

    Dacre

    Yes and No.

    You cannot achieve this using out of the box actions.

    However, you can cancel the approvals from the backend by manipulating the Approval table in Dataverse.

    I have covered that in my blog

    Hope it helps!

    Hi Sudeep,

    Am I right that stopping the approvals in the Dataverse still leaves the workflow waiting for a response to the approval; as it doesn't recognise the change as a 'response', though?
