Create a pdf of a website in reader view, create a new Outlook email and attach it to the message

To send an article from a website as pdf document I would like to switch to Reader View in Firefox or to Immersive Reader in Edge to create a pdf which will then be attached to a new email in Outlook. Is this feasible using Power Automate?

Should be doable, why not.
So many would say "use ui autoamtion" to switch to the reader mode via UI automation/send keys, but there is a better way:

Simply add "read://" (edge) or "about:reader?=" (firefox) in front of you URL and open it as usual in the browser 🙂

F9 is the shortcut key to go into Reader View in Firefox.

Then you can press Ctrl P and use Print to PDF, Save the file, attach it to email.

Thanks. Is it possible to automate all these steps with Power Automate by just clicking on a button in the browser or using a keyboard shortcut? I share many articles as pdfs and it's cumbersome to always switch to reader view first, then click on print as pdf, browse for the folder location, then open Outlook to create a new message and browse again for the right folder to attach the pdf.

If you would like to have something as simple as that then you could find out an extension...something like this Print Friendly & PDF – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US) (mozilla.org)

You can look out for more.

Then have PAD get the most recently downloaded file and email it.

Guys, you don't need to automate enabling reader mode.

Just open your URL in this form in Edge and it will open in the reader automatically:
read://https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICONIX
And from here you can automate UI to save to PDF

That's correct, either pressing F9 or directly the URL will take the webpage into Reader mode.

But after doing that, @wow1 doesn't want to go with UI automation and want something in a single click, therefore I have suggested an extension would be easier, if that is the preference.

Thanks to all of you for your advice. I'm looking for a one-click solution to get all these steps done. I'm a newbie to Windows automation and will try UI automation. It interests me to learn what it can be used for.
