Dear Community, I am grateful for everyone's support here.

I have worked with canvas apps but i still count myself super intermediate. However i am changing my organization where i would be using Dataverse apps instead of canvas apps, i never used or have idea about dataverse apps, are they same as canvas apps?

my organization which i have not joined yet, told me that they use dataverse apps along with react and angular so i would be grateful if you could guide me through or any learning material so i can get my handson before joining as i am starting in a 12 days.

I would be grateful for your guidance.

Microsoft Dataverse with Power Apps

There are a couple of types of Power Apps including Canvas and Model-based Power Apps. Both of these can utilize Dataverse as a data source behind the scenes.

Model-based Power Apps can leverage the best of the Dataverse (out-of-the-box) vs. Canvas Apps where you still need to build some of the capabilities that come in Model Apps. '
