Youtube --> Twitter Flow causing Spam lately

Hello all,

I use a flow that, when I upload new YouTube videos, automatically tweets them on Twitter. This flow has worked successfully for a long time. Even when I last added a condition that it should only post the tweets if the video title contains certain terms.

Now, for a few days, I've been having the problem that at various times (although it usually seems to start around midnight) all the videos I've already tweeted seem to be retweeted ( fortunately, the condition I mentioned above restricts the amount!). If I delete these tweets, it starts again some time later. I have already completely deleted and recreated the flow and also removed and renewed the connection to YouTube and Twitter. Unfortunately, the problem still exists.

I know that some other Youtubers had this problem at exactly the same time who use Microsoft Flow for exactly this task.

Can anyone help? I will try another service for my purpose soon, but would like to stay with Microsoft Flow.

    This has also started happening to me. A flow that was previously working for several months suddenly started executing multiple times a minute for old videos (including unlisted videos), and the break occurred approximately the same day that YouTube rolled out Handles for my account.

    Unfortunately, I haven't found a solution yet, except that I've been using Zapier.com for the same purpose for the last few days, and this behaviour hasn't occurred there yet. Doesn't that mean that the fault isn't with YouTube or Twitch but really here with Microsoft Flow?

    Hi @Soulwarrior1986,

    As far as I am aware this should have been fixed now and the issue should not be reproduceable anymore. Can you test/double check again?

    @Expiscornovus

    Thank you very much. I have reactivated the flow and so far everything is actually working properly. I would report back after about 1 week to see if this is still the case.

    Where did you get the info that it has been fixed? Was there something official somewhere?

    Hi @Soulwarrior1986,

    I haven't come across any official communication about this.

    But I did hear this from other forum users and MVPs that it seem to be fixed. Also my Twitter timeline wasn't flooded with old YouTube videos anymore 😁
