Converting to PDF

I have a document library in a SharePoint site with a number of folders and subfolders, and within these are different files.

Ever week, i need to copy a folder into another document library on a different SharePoint site.  When i do this, is there a flow i can build which will convert all the files within the folder into PDF when it is copied into the new document library?

Thanks

    Hi

I would suggest you to adapt the technique described in this post to your own requirements:

    Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply, however i am not sure this will work for me because the files will be saved in different folders and subfolders, all with different titles.

    Hi again

You can implement a recurrence trigger  to execute your flow once a week, then use:

    • Either List folder to get all the files in your requirements source folder, assuming all of the files in the Folder are your target files
    • Or Get files (properties only) since it 'gets the properties saved in the columns in the library for all folders and files stored in the library' + filter its results to get just the files currently stored in your requirements source Folder.

Then iterate through all these target files by means of an Apply to each action block. Inside the Apply to Each:

    • just implement my first recommendation (i.e. get file content, copy it to OneDrive4Business, convert it to pdf), and store PDF in your second Sharepoint Site, or
    • just store the word file in One Drive4Businness, and once you finish iterating all through your target files (i.e. Apply To Each execution copmleted) execute a second flow inspired on this template to transform them into PDF and move them back to your target Sharepoint Site

Please try to implement any of these approaches, and if you find problems please share a screenshot of your design + the error when executing your PA Flow so we can keep on providing suggestions

    Hope this helps
