HI

I am trying to create a document & email from Excel.

I am stuck at the very beginning.

I have an excel sheet with header and columns  (table), but when trying to create the flow from excel line to email.

I can locate the excel file, but the table is not coming up.

Is there something i need to do to register the table for Automate?

thanks

Kris

    Hi there,

If you can show us what you've done in your flow so far (screenshots), we'll be able to guide you better.

Have you used the "list rows present in a table" action? It's an excel action. It'll let you select your spreadsheet, and table.

Then, from there, you should be able to select your data. If you only want one specific row, you'll need a key (a unique column) that you can filter on.

I tried to reply to your message, but it didn't let me.

As you can see above, I am wanting to use my excel sheet, which is in table format ( header, rows and columns), but after I selected the file, the table option doesn't show me anything.

I tried looking at the forum, but can't find anything to show how to configure the excel to read the table.

    thanks

    Hi @KrisAft ,

your screenshots don't make sense to me. The first is about MS Forms, not MS Excel.

Your second screenshot looks ok and you are able to select most fields, but not the table.
Does your Excel file includes a table? This is not just some lines in a workbook. Hit Cntr-L to create a list.

Hit Cntr-L to create a list helped.

Now i just need to find the instruction on how to create an email and from the excel table and send a test.

    thanks
