Unable to setup Rules in SharePoint List

I am unable to setup Rules to send notifications to internal staff. When I setup a rule to send a notification to 'Person/s Responsible' which is a people column type, SharePoint changes the rule to 'Me'. What am I missing?

    Hi @SayandSajith1,

A rule is a SharePoint feature, that is something different than a Power Automate cloud flow (which we are discussing on these forums).

That being said, what are your permissions on the list/library? Can you double check this?

    Hi @Expiscornovus ,

Thanks for your response. I am finding it really hard to find a solution to this problem. I did reach out to the SharePoint community and had no luck. I double checked the permissions for the site, list and looks to be okay. I would appreciate any guidance on troubleshooting!

    Hi @SayandSajith1,

What type of permission level do you have on the list. Do you have read, contribute, edit or full control?

Hi @Expiscornovus, I am setup with Full Control and part of the Owners permission group of the site and the list.

Hi @Expiscornovus I am also having the same problem is there any known work around by enabling a power automation?
