Hi All,

I do have a requirement where we need to download xmls from share point and compare validations and create new xmls where we need to put in share point.

Could you please suggest which flows to be used(desktop/Cloud).

HI,

You could actually use either. Although to me, it sounds more like what I would do in Power Automate (Cloud), versus Desktop so that I don't have to be attended at a machine.

For the Cloud Version
1. You can setup an When a new file is created (Trigger) for when new files arrive

Or

2. You could setup a Reoccurring Flow that runs say 1 time a day and processes all the files in SharePoint.

But everything you said, to me, use Cloud for.
