Hello Everyone,
My notification alert is not working as expected. Kindly assist
This is what I would like to accomplish
To notify business stakeholders when there is a delay in the daily refresh/running of various data marts. Notification is set to send a post to Teams if the trigger is breached at 8:30am daily.
Steps I took
I created a PowerBI report and from there I set up cards that Power Automate works from (trigger if update delayed is > 0). However, in my report 3 non-critical data marts run later than 8:30am but it's been agreed to filter those out of the report. Hence, my card is tied to the report page where the non-critical data marts are filtered out.
Problem I have encountered
Even with the non-critical data marts filtered out, a notification is still sent daily to say that data marts are delayed (when other marts ran successfully). I have observed that at 6:37am, I get a data alert in MS Teams to let me know that my alert has crossed 0 (at that time, this is true) but at 8:30am, everything is complete, and a notification should not be triggered.
Can someone please help me understand what might be the problem?
