Hey Champs

I need to send an Email to a Manager when a Task is overdue for lets say 7 days from a datecolumn in Dataverse. I need to Check If the Status ist Not equal to completed.

I have Always done this in Sharepoint and wirke great, but i havent really found a Dokumentation or Video how to achieve this also in Dataverse. Anything i find is with Sharepoint.

Can someones Help?

Thanks in advance

I suggest you make a scheduled flow that checks daily. Choose list rows action and filter it on the due date you need. Make sure you use the system name for the dataverse column. Then choose Apply to each and make the data source is the values from the List rows action. Choose the dynamic content you need in the email. Let me know if you need more assistance.

    hey

Thanks so much for your reply. so for every row found it would send out an email right?

i would need to try that for sure, if it works i will reach out and mark as solution again.

how would the expression look like when i only want to get the rows from the datecolumn +7 days and Status  not equal to Completed?

    cheers

I assume that the Status column is a choice field? Their system name is a number you can find when you open the choice field in Dataverse:

    Here is an example:

You can find more information on how to filter here. You can even use parentheses to make more advanced filters. Filter rows using OData - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

I find the system name of the columns in Dataverse if you go to the column section on the table:

    thanks again for sharing

but wouldnt i need to fill the filter rows field to only get the rows and not the select columns?

i would need to send the email to a manager to show him the overdue tasks where i can use the dynamic content of the found rows ;)

    cheers
