I get the error message when trying to save a flow. Can anyone help?

Flow save failed with code 'DynamicOperationRequestClientFailure' and message 'The dynamic operation request to API 'microsoftforms' operation 'GetQuestions' failed with status code 'Forbidden'. This may indicate invalid input parameters. Error response: { "error": { "code": "707", "message": "UnauthorizedAccess to CDB. Inner Message: {\"error\":{\"code\":\"OperationForbidden\",\"message\":\"Unauthorized Access\",\"innerError\":{\"code\":\"UnauthorizedAccess\"}}}", "@ms.form.error.type": "ExpectedFailure" } }'.

    Hi @Anonymous

    Thank you for posting.

According to your description, you encountered  authentication error while saving flow. If I misunderstood, please kindly let me know.

Since you didn’t attach your flow details. I created a simple flow using form but unfortunately I couldn’t reproduce your issue. Normally, the error may be caused due to unstable server status. The common solution for such kind of issue is reestablishing connection to verify account information again.

However, if the flow still fails to save. Please go to below articles for reference.

Here is the same error caused by trigger type.

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Connecting-To-Data/Possible-Bug-Major-headace-sharing-Flow-with-biz/td-p/235575

The other one is caused due to using service account.

If the solutions above still not work for you. I recommend you go to our website to request a remote troubleshooting support.

Hope the content above may help you.

    Thanks

Did you ever figure this out?  I am getting this trying to get responses from Microsoft forms:

Flow save failed with code 'DynamicOperationRequestClientFailure' and message 'The dynamic operation request to API 'microsoftforms' operation 'GetQuestions' failed with status code 'Forbidden'. This may indicate invalid input parameters. Error response: { "error": { "code": "707", "message": "UnauthorizedAccess to CDB. Inner Message: {\"error\":{\"code\":\"OperationForbidden\",\"message\":\"Unauthorized Access\",\"innerError\":{\"code\":\"UnauthorizedAccess\"}}}", "@ms.form.error.type": "ExpectedFailure" } }'.

The weird thing is I do have the contributer link and can edit the form.  I didnt create the form, but not sure that matters I've gotten data from other MS Forms I didnt create.

I got it working.  I had to do this.

Log into MS Forms as the service account I was using.

Use the link to visit the form.

Then I was able to use it in my flow.

But I had to actually go to the form once as that service account.

Did as you described and it doesn't work.  Are you sure?  I use the same account that created the form to also create the flow and also for the Sharepoint path associated with the folder that the flow uses to upload files.

When I first created the form, this folder was under My Files. But because we have another form folder in a Sharepoint site at path Documents>Apps>Microsoft Forms... I thought the simplest thing to do would be to move the form upload folder from its original location to the latter path.  Big mistake apparently as this broke the upload functionality in the Form.  I move the folder back to its original location. Form remains broken.

Finally, my admin moves it to the Sharepoint site folder path I mentioned above, and now form works again.

I repeat that the user account I am using for this has access to the form itself, the Sharepoint site (path and all), and the Power Automate flow it also created.  Therefore it is not an authorization issue. But as the error message says, it is a bad request as if it can't find the resource that is specified by the File Identifier option of the Sharepoint Get File Content action (same issue with the other action named 'Get File Content by Path'), even though the file is right there and if I use the folder icon in this action to navigate the Sharepoint paths, I find it there as well!

None of it makes any sense, and none of it is intuitive.

Opening form with Service account fixed it for me

@Mattw112b's solution solved the problem for me.  I wanted to use a service account in the Power Automate flow, and I could not switch the connection to the service account due to the error in this post.  Going to the form, clicking the three dots in the top right, select 'Collaborate or Duplicate', and then copy the link from the 'Add collaborators' section.  Then go to that link signed in as the service account.

    Fixed!  Thank you!!
