How do you get access to Co Pilot studio?

Hi All, I am trying to access Co Pilot Studio, mainly just to test out its capabilities to see if it is capable of what I require. However;

I cannot login with a personal email account.

I have a work based email but it says 'We can't finish signing you up because Microsoft Copilot Studio isn't currently available for your work or school account associated with (insert my email)'. I am not sure why this is the case.

I have been looking into the issue and have found a help page which says you can sign up for the Microsoft 365 Developer Program, which provides a free work account that you can use to access Copilot Studio. I have done this but cannot find anywhere in the Developer Program login that allows me to do this.

Can anyone advise me how I can obtain access? I dont mind if this is through my work email or through the Developer Program.

Thanks in advance.

1-Personal Microsoft accounts aren't supported. Use a work account instead.
2-Check with your IT department, they might have disable trail apps.

    1. Sign up or log in to the Microsoft 365 Developer Program
    Go to: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/dev-program
Sign in with a personal Microsoft account.
Join the program — it's free.
Choose the instant sandbox option (gives you a pre-configured Microsoft 365 tenant).
This will give you a brand-new work email like yourname@yourdomain.onmicrosoft.com

    2. Access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
Once you have the developer tenant, go to:
    https://admin.microsoft.com
This is where you manage users, licenses, and apps in your developer tenant.

    3. Add Power Platform Access
    Go to: https://make.powerapps.com
Sign in with your new dev tenant account (yourname@yourdomain.onmicrosoft.com)
From there, go to Environments and see if there's a Developer environment.
If not, create one and assign yourself the Environment Maker role.

    4. Open Copilot Studio
    Go to: https://copilotstudio.microsoft.com
Sign in using the same dev account.
Choose the Developer environment you created or were assigned.
You should now be able to create and test Copilot bots.

    Thanks.
