Can I add a date to an adaptive card for the "For a selected message" Teams trigger?

My team uses an adaptive card to reply to a Teams message - it looks like this:

What I'm curious to know is if I can add a date to the card's header text. I'd like it to say "Daily Update - Monday, November 28" instead of "Daily Update!". Is that doable?

 

I tried adding the typical Power Automate formula to convert the time format to a Day, but it ended up looking like this within Teams:

    @BrettW  are you specifying the formatdatetime expression from dynamic content -> Expressions like  example below? it looks like expression is added plain text in your adaptivecard json
