Combine create item and modify item connectors

Hello,

I am working on a flow sarting with a Salesforce connector that would need to start when a record is created or when a record is modified, so when one of both cases happens.

Currently I only know how to create a flow either when an item is created or modified. In practice this would mean that I will need to build the same flow twice: once with the create item connector and once with the modify item connector.

Is there a way to have Flow trigger in both cases in 1 single flow?

Thanks and regards

Wim

    Hi @Anonymous,

The "When a record is created or modified" trigger is not supported in Salesforce connector of Microsoft Flow currently, if you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

I afraid that there is no way to have Flow trigger in both cases within one single flow currently.

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Hello,

I have submitted the combined connector as a idea as suggested by you.

I have created a flow based on the trigger 'when an record is modified'. I now have to create an identical flow based on the trigger 'when a record is created'. Is there a way to create a copy of the existing fow (I know how to do that) and replace the connecter by the other one in order to avoid having to create a new, identical flow from scratch?

    Thanks and regards

    Wim
