Selecting Date on Web Page

Hi Power Users,

Please assist.

In this example, I am trying to get screenshot of different dates input from a webpage.  The data from the webpage seem to be different (or outdated), if you compare visiting the webpage manually rather than using PAD.

I have inserted to clear the cache, once the web browser opens, however this doesn't seem to be working.

For example website ; https://www.oanda.com/currency-converter/en/?from=USD&to=AUD&amount=1

Inspect Java script line: <input type="text" tabindex="7" class="MuiInputBase-input MuiOutlinedInput-input cc35 MuiInputBase-inputAdornedStart MuiOutlinedInput-inputAdornedStart MuiInputBase-inputAdornedEnd MuiOutlinedInput-inputAdornedEnd" value="16 August 2022">

I have added an input box and converted this to text, for inputting into the webpage (using the 'Populate text field of web page' action).  Is there a specific format?

Can you please suggest where to look at the website date format? I'm not familiar with javascript.

Are you able to please, maybe forward a link to where I can investigate further? I'm overwhelmed with the available information, however I'm still unable to find the specific help guide after doing google searches.

Thanks in advance!

    Have you solved the problem?

    Hi,

you can control the date with the arrows.

You can imagine to click 10 times on the right arrow for exemple, using a loop.

This is not the best solution, but you can try it 🙂

After clicking on the arrow, click somewhere on your page to validate the date.

@XRQ57 , thanks for the suggestion. I had attempted this however, the selection of the UI, is not working fully. I also attempted to use the recorder, to layout the initial steps.

@Highboy , not solved. Are you able to direct me to further documentation? Thanks

    Hi PAD users,
Just wanted to share, this issue was FINALLY fixed, as the software has been updated. the formulae/logic had not change. So if you are encountering any issues, make sure you have the latest version, to fix the bugs.
hopefully, haven't celebrated the early win. 😁
