Hi,
I want to test PVA for a Q&A bot. But I can´t access the website to create a bot.
I´m a Admin in our test tenant and can see the environments in the Power Admincenter (Umgebungen | Power Platform Admin Center (microsoft.com)).
How ever, when i try to access the web app or create a new bot through the teams app, i get the following error:
Is there anything special i need to configure to be able to create a bot?
I´ve got a M365 E5 Developer Licencse, which should include PVA as far as i know.
Greetings
Matthis
Hi @MatthisWil,
I don't believe PVA is available for environments located in the Germany region.
The list of supported regions is available here: Regional settings and data locations (contains video) - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Learn
While PVA uses storage, a chatbot can be deployed to any environment where the service is available. When you don't have enough Dataverse capacity, what gets blocked is environment creation and operations (backup, copy, restore...): What's new for storage administration in Microsoft Power Platform - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn
Select Microsoft 365 subscriptions cover the usage of PVA, but they need to be created from the Power Virtual Agents app in Microsoft Teams (https://aka.ma/PVAforTeams), and it's deployed to a Dataverse for Teams environment (not consuming Dataverse capacity against the tenant, but coming with some limitations).
You can learn more about the differences with the 'full' version of PVA here: Get access to Power Virtual Agents - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Learn

Hi @HenryJammes ,
thanks for your help!
The power platform environments are located in germany.
I´ve found that we don´t have any database storage available within the tenant (Power Platform Admin Center -> Ressources -> Capacity).
Since the PVAs need database storage (1gb min.) I guess that is the problem?
So the M365 E5 Developer license includes the license to create bots, but our tenant needs to add some database storage?
I´ll try signing up for the developer plan / PVA trial.
Hi @MatthisWil,
Select Microsoft 365 subscriptions include PVA when used through the PVA app in Microsoft Teams (i.e. this app: https://aka.ms/PVAForTeams).
More information:
On the error message you're seeing, this could be an environment region issue.
What region and what type of environment have you selected when creating a new environment in Create and manage environments in the Power Platform admin center?
If you're lacking licenses or capacity, you can also test the capabilities with a free Power Apps developer plan + PVA trial: Signing up for a developer plan for Power Virtual Agents.
