Disable or freeze reply/chat box when an adaptive card is posted

Hi

I'm using adaptive card to collect user details.

When the adaptive card is posted, I want the chat window/message box to be disabled such that user enters only in the adaptive card provided. Is it possible?

    As a workaround, using this condition to loop around till the user enters the card details
