Currency in Excel not being output to Outlook

Hi,

I have an Excel spreadsheet with currency values that I am trying to send out to people using Outlook, via Power Automate. When I select the dynamic value for the currency cell, it inputs it as a plain number with 11 decimal places. I have tried a number of expressions to convert it but nothing seems to be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

This works in testing, here are the results and the expression.

formatNumber(float(items('For_each')?['Amount']), 'C2', 'en-US')

The key here is your need to add a float for this to work. C2 means currency, 2 decimals, en-US means US format. en-GB for British, fr-FR for French, etc.
