Audit Logs automation for SharePoint

(3) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 1,710

Hello everyone,

I want to provide an automatic log report on a daily basis for the managers that should be extracted from the Audit log to track the user(s) activities in SharePoint Online for a specific document library.

So the report should provide the below details:

  1. User identification;
  2. Data and hour (UTC/GMT – coordinated universal time based) of the access;
  3. Files accessed (with data/hour);
  4. Files downloaded (with data/hour);
  5. Files uploaded (with data/hour);

Is it possible to integrate with the Audit log and extract the needed information using power automate?

If so, can please someone provide an example or mention a resource that I can follow to build that flow?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

    Did you ever get any traction on this?  We have a similar requirement for a file transfer solution.  Given that the audit logs are no longer in SP, I'm wondering if a flow is feasible to gather these reports daily from MS Purview.  I need to konw if SP is really in the cards here considering our E5 licensing and heavy SP adoption or if we need to look at securedocs or similar
