Power Automate Newbie - LDAP error

Hello everyone.  Just started with Power Automate and I'm starting small by just trying to a read users info (Get User Info).  When I enter the DN information and run the flow, it throws the following error:  Directory entry not found. Please check that the entry exists on the Active Directory server or that the given DN is correct.

The DN path I entered is correct.  I also created a "Connect to Server" step with the LDAP path and that completes with no error.  So what I am missing???  My flow starts with "Connect to Server", and then errors in the next step with Get User Info

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

I have never done this; however, one of the common issues is that PAD is running from the first command to the next so fast that the page hasn't loaded, or the window isn't open, or the server isn't connected.

How long does it take to connect to the server?

I would, put in a WAIT command, for double whatever you think that number is, and try again.

Same problem here, did you manage to get it working? I also tried the wait between Connect to Server and Get Group Members as suggested.

Could you fix it? I have the same issue

Could you please post what you figured out?  I am new to this and don't know how to find the parent directory other than go up one level in Active Directory.  If that is what we do, then what is the format for an Active Directory entry?

Run into the same issue and solved.

You need to specify properly parameter for "Get User Info" action.
"Distinguished name" parameter should be set to full object path in LDAP format.

    For example: CN=John Doe,OU=Users,DC=company,DC=local

I am using the full ldap path and get the same error.
