Hi Community,
I’ve built a Power Automate flow that is triggered "When a new response is submitted" from a Microsoft Form. The flow performs the following steps:
- Extracts data from the response
- Runs a chart creation script (Excel script)
- Sends an email with the generated chart attached
It works perfectly during testing and small-scale use. However, I’m now preparing for a large-scale rollout where over 1000 people may submit the form, possibly around the same time, like in a conference or some other gathering
I want to ensure that the flow handles this load smoothly failures, or delays.
Could anyone help me understand the following:
- Is there a limit to how many times a flow can be triggered per minute/hour/day?
- Are there performance concerns when 1000+ users submit the form simultaneously?
- Should I consider adding delay mechanisms or other factors to avoid issues?
- Any settings or best practices I should configure in the flow or in the environment?
Any suggestions or recommendations from your experience would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
