Dynamic file path to get Excel workbooks

Hi guys

I am fairly new to Power Automate and I'm currently just playing around with the capabilities of Flows.

I'm trying to create a Flow that is applicable to multiple different Excel workbooks with similar, but slightly differing names.

I read online that the Excel 'Get workbooks' step does not take a mixture dynamic content and strings in it's 'File' entry field, so I created a string variable to generate the file path, and then I places that variable into the Excel step, as show below:

Capture.PNG

However, when I run the flow, I get an error message that doesn't seem to make sense:

Capture1.PNG

I have double, even triple-checked, and the file with that EXACT name (case sensitive) in the given path exists. I am at an ends as to what to do from here.

Any help or suggestions would be thoroughly appreciated.

hi @xavierpamment  what you need is not a path is an ID. so you can follow this blog that shows you how to get the ID from a file using HTTP sharepoint API request. see
