I have created my flow to take an item if marked yes and place it on another list.
How do i apply it? When I change the archive button to yes it does activate the flow to the archive list
Are you saying that the Flow does work as designed?
You don't need to do anything to activate the Flow - just make sure that it is turned on which is the default.
As soon as you save the Flow, it will run based on the trigger that you used. So, if the Flow uses a SharePoint When an item is created or modified, the Flow will run when an item is created or modified.
