I am hoping to use the "When keywords are mentioned" in a Teams message Flow trigger to kick off a flow that does the following:
- Parses the message for a customer name
- Provides relevant notes (previously stored in SharePoint or potentially D365) for that customer in an adaptive card
Users would use this Flow by posting something like "getnotes Contoso" in the appropriate channel.
Is this approach...crazy? I was looking into Power Virtual Agents for this, but it looks like you'd have to manually maintain a list of entities for this and there's no way to automatically populate or depopulate it. My users LOVE Teams but don't like learning/navigating into new systems. They currently enter their notes as Teams posts, but it is challenging to keep the data structured and ensure searchability. I am hoping to start storing their information in a more structured fashion but to hide the complexity by giving them a Teams-based interfacing for browsing and discussing these things. Anyone have advice?
