Cannot increase timeout for the SQL Server Gateway connection

Hello,

I have a power automate flow that executes a database procedure to our sql server using a gateway connection.

This procedure when I run it manually it needs almost two minutes.

But when I run the flow, I have a timeout (which is 2 minutes).

I tried to increase this timeout but it seems that it's not working.

In the attached screenshot, you see the timeout settings and the output from the execution where it is obvious that 2 minutes timeout has not changed.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Thank you,

Nikos

    Hi @skatzis ,

Please take a look at this doc.

    Hello Wearsky,

I read it and it's very complicated.

What I would like to know first is why PowerAutomate (or Gateway connector) ignores the timeout I have entered in the specific step of the flow.

    Thank you for your reply,

    Nikos

    Hi @skatzis ,

    I think it's a limitation.

    Hello Wearsky,

If the timeout limit is 110 seconds and can't be changed then what is the meaning of the "Timeout" parameter in settings?

It's not working for a single query it says. Then how it works?

    Thank you,

    Nikos
