Render in Classic Mode vs "Improved App Rendering"

I've noticed that none of the apps I created prior to the introduction of the "Improved app rendering" feature work unless I turn that feature off.

Is there a long term future for "classic mode" or do I need to start debuggng and reporting each of my apps one by one to figure out why this new "improved" rendering method breaks all my apps?

    Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

The "Improved App Rendering" functionality is used to render an app in more efficient way. The "Render in Classic mode" functionality is used to render an app in a classic app rendering way.

Some new experimental features released within the canvas app are based on the "Improved App Rendering" functionality, In other words, if you want to use the new experimental features (e.g. Try the enhanced Group control) within the Canvas app, you must turn on/enable the "Improved App Rendering" option.

    Best regards,

    Kris

Okay, so I tried to replicate the issues I saw last week I couldn't, so I'll mark this issue resolved. I will note that there appears to have been 2 PowerApps releases since I first noticed my problem:

3.18073.33 - When I imported App A into my test environment on 8/13

3.18072.29 - When I imported App B into my test environment on 8/14

3.18075.22 - When I saved both App A and B for the first time

3.18081.19 - The version I saved and published both apps on Friday 8/17

So maybe MS tweaked whatever issue I was having last week.
