Check Boxes in gallery with filtered records linked to sharepoint do not match the sharepoint data

I have a gallery listing filtered records from a sharepoint data source.  The records in the sharepoint list contain fields with check boxes.  The gallery also contains check boxes that are tied to the same fields.  When the app is run, the check boxes all show "Unchecked" even though the underlying data has the same record and field as "Checked on".  I use a patch command to update a record in the sharepoints check box and that updates the records correctly however when the patch command runs the form refreshes and all of the check boxes show "Unchecked" in the app.  I want to be able to see what fields are checked "On" vs "Off" in the App.  What am I missing here?

    Hi @jjskilling

Yes/No type columns in SharePoint are a little tricky when patching.

Check my video blog on Patching SharePoint list columns

Thanks for your response.  My issue is not with using the Patch functionality, it is more about showing a Check box on a form that is tied to a data source (sharepoint) where the field is also a check box.  The sharepoint table shows the box as checked while the Power app form shows the same record with the check box unchecked. The form does not reflect what the record shows in the sharepoint list.
