Designing an App for Multiple Teams with Different Data--can updates be shared with all groups?

Right now I am developing an application for use by our office.

Once it is completed, 8 of our other offices would like to be able to use the same application, but with their own data.

Is this possible? Is there a way to share updates with all of them, or what is the best way to do this?

Not sure...depends on the requirements of the App. I would start hear and read all about it paying specific attention to Datasource delegation limits and the 500 row limit of datasources.

Make sure to check out the article comments too...a lot of good info there.

    Chris,

Thank you for your reply. I'm not a developer, just a power user, so I would say the easiest datasource possible. I was going on the assumption that I would use SharePoint lists, but it doesn't seem like that's going to be best. What would you recommend I do?

What is the datasource of the app?
