SharePoint List Attachment to Planner (as a link or physical file)

 Hi

I currently have a flow that writes tasks to planner when a new item is added to a SharePoint list. It writes several things over but I am struggling with the attachment aspect. Not all entries on the list have an attachment.

I have found a couple of other methods for getting outlook attachments onto planner as a shared link but I can't figure out how to do this from a SharePoint list. One of them is here.

I want to avoid having to use power automate to copy the SharePoint list attachment to a documents folder on the SharePoint site, if possible.

Is there anybody who could help me with this please?

    Hi @chris_scott

You need to use "Reference" property of update task detail action.

Here are the steps, I have mentioned for the similar use case:

Solved: Adding attachments from email to Planner task with... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

I am not sure how using an array would help me in this situation. I want power automate to take an attachment added to a sharepoint list and either copy this attachment into a planner task, or put a link to the attachment - without having to duplicate the file into a folder.

I managed to do it. I made use of the get attachment function and the apply to each function to get it to write to the planner task under the reference section of update task details. As some entries added do not have an attachment, I had to do this within scope function>control to get it to run correctly.
