My current solution is a gallery that is filtered to a single record based on text from barcode scan. The user then selects single parent record for edit form. I want to eliminate the gallery so the parent record is selected for the edit form when barcode is scanned. Any ideas?
Not in a position to try this, but can't you scan into a variable and then do a lookup for the record you need?
May need a little more info on exactly what you are doing
Thanks @BrianS , I tried using Split of scan in Lookup to make the record reference but that didn't work. Adding a label that captured the portion of the split then referencing that in the Lookup did the trick. Cheers!
