Currently I have an ADO User story where it a user can be assigned,
When I get the Email address it comes through as First Name Last Name <Firstname.lastname@email.com>
The issue is I only want the email address and nothing else, how do I get this information?

    Could you show your flow and rephrase your question?

    Hi @huzayfahhh1 ,

    You can split the string of email address that you get into parts based on ' ' separator. Then extract last value which might potentially carry your desired email address

    last(split(<EmailAddressColumn>, ' '))

    Hope this helps

    @huzayfahhh1 Are you planning to use this emailadress to send an email? If yes, you can just use this email variable in that specific action. That would normally work just fine.

    thats where I am coming into a problem, the output shows as:
    First Name Last name <FirstnameLastname@email.com>

    I need a way where I can just pull the email or separate it to just get the email, instead of getting the first and last name along with the email address.

    slice(
    	outputs('Compose'),
    	add(indexOf(outputs('Compose'), '<'), 1),
    	indexOf(outputs('Compose'), '>')
    )

    However, I wonder why the email's display name is not supported by the connector "Send an email (V2)".

    I think that should be made possible.

    Could you show the output of "Get a User Profile"?
