How to Retrieve Values from on-prem sql server

We are working on setting up our first power automate flow that would pull records from our SQL Server and use those values to then route approvals the correct place. Kind of lost at how to accomplish this. Have tried using the "Get row (V2) ' function but that requires a unique row id to pull the record. What we'd ideally want to do is to do a query like select supervisor_id from table where employee_id = value_from_form. Any idea on how to accomplish this? Are we just using the wrong connector? Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
