Is there a way we can print entire site page content as email body?

Hi,

I have created a automated workflow using power automate, which will trigger an email whenever a "site page" is created or modified.

I have also written a HTML template which will take the dynamic content available i.e, "TITLE" and "DESCRIPTION".

But when the email is sent, the dynamic content "DESCRIPTION" is not printed completely. I need the entire "site page" text content to be sent in the email.

The "Description" dynamic content has a character limit.

Can you please suggest me any other alternate way, using which i can print the page content as the email body?

Thanks,

Asra Nousheen

    Hi @Hardesh15

Thank you for the swift response.

    Please find the attached screenshots.

The body of the email is written in the HTML format and I am using the TITLE and DESCRIPTION as the dynamic values.
I need the entire text in the site page created to be displayed in the email triggered. Kindly suggest a workaround.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi @Hardesh15

Attached the screenshots of the Site Page and the output (Email).

If you can observe, the text in the site page is not entirely being printed in Email.Email - the text is truncatedEmail - the text is truncatedSite PageSite Page

I tried without any HTML. I just added the dynamic content "DESCRIPTION" (attached screenshot),  still the entire text wasn't displayed fully.

I have tested this and it is coming as full text.test.jpg

Is Description field is single line of text or Multiple line of Text? PLs use multiple line of text.

Now i understand why you cannot able to pull full page description.

This is site pages library and here Description field has limit of 250 characters. i have tried to change limit but system make it default again. So you are getting only 250 characters.

    Please use Send HTTP Request...

    HTTP.jpg

dynamic field from parse JSON "CanvasContent1" will give you full page content.

Use the output of compose action in email.

    Thanks

    Hardesh
