We have answers in a knowledgebase in a word doc in Sharepoint that contains a list. The settings are set to High relevance.

What are the days of the week?
1. monday
2. tuesday
3. wednesday
4. thursday
5. friday
6. saturday
7. sunday

However the generative answer is removing key pieces of information. Answers look like

"the days of the week are monday, tuesday and wednesday".

How do we instruct the copilot topic to provide accurate answers?

What is the actual content you are asking the copilot about? I'm guessing the list of days is just an exmaple?

    Our documentation reads as follows:

Question: What are the core principles of The Credit Pros?
Answer: The TCP Core Principles are:
    1. If the phone rings, we answer it promptly and politely.
    2. If a client makes an appointment, it is kept timely.
    3. If a client sends an email, it is replied to promptly.
    4. If a client leaves a voicemail, it is returned promptly.
    5. If a client creates a ticket, it is addressed promptly.
    6. If a client complains, we address it promptly.
    7. If a client sends in a document, we address it promptly.
    8. If a client initiates a chat, it is responded to promptly.
    9. If a client owes us money, we call and ask for it.

However the Copilot replies with the following:

Its a very easy scenario to reproduce.

eg. configure a basic copilot with a file "my-recipes.pdf", which contains 10 recipes.

Question to Copilot: Show a complete list of recipes.
Copilot then explains that Recipe1, Recipe2, and Recipe3 exist.

    Question: Tell me about Recipe4.
Copilot then tells more detail about Recipe4.

Question: Show 3 of the recipes.
    Copilot then Explains about Recipes1..3.

Question: Show 5 of the recipes.
Copilot: Sorry, I don't know about that.

to me, this is not about how one configures topics, entities, skills... it clearly knows what I'm after, but is being restricted in the amount of detail it can put in an answer (or similar).

In my example, I also have generative AI in "Classic" mode, since I'm not asking it complicated questions (yet).
