Inconsistent Issue: PowerAutomate emails going to the wrong person

I am having a heck of a time with a workflow and would like to understand why emails are going to the wrong person because it doesn't happen to everyone when they complete a checkup MSForm.

Lists:

New Manager list - Includes the manager's names, details, and tracks which check-ups have been completed

Checkup list - records check-up results

Flow:

  1. Get the response details
  2. Get the user profile using the form respondent email.
  3. Responses and user profile information are posted to the Checkup SharePoint list.
  4. Get the New Manager list and update "Month02Checkup" column to done.
  5. Send an email to the New Managers/Sharepoint account email address.

I can see the data is from Misty (image 1) and the email went to Maria (her manager) and Misty. I also selected to edit the flow and check to see if there was some sort of bcc or something, there’s not.

For some reason, Nicole B is getting copies of Misty's checkups with the email addressed to Misty. This isn't the only case of this happening.

ASK: Does anyone have ideas as to why this might be happening?

    Hi @Jltitus ,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow in edit mode?

Without seeing your flow, it's only speculation, but one thing I have seen is if you are storing the destination email address in a variable and the generation of the emails is occurring in a loop, iterations of that loop might be running in parallel. As such, those parallel iterations can change the variable that they are all sharing before the email gets sent, causing the content of one email to be sent to the destination meant for a different email.
