how to create more than 3 Dev environments as a power platform global admin

I am a Power Platform Administrator, and I’m planning to create more than three development environments. However, due to environment limits, I’m currently unable to create additional environments.

Could you please let me know if there is any way to create more than three environments?

Your help is much appreciated.

There is no hard limit on the total number of standard Power Platform environments you can create at tenant level. The real constraint is Dataverse capacity.

Each environment with Dataverse requires a minimum of 1 GB database capacity, so your ability to create more environments depends on the available tenant capacity.

However, if you are referring specifically to Developer environments under the Power Apps Developer Plan, there is a limit of 3 Developer environments per user. Each user with a Developer Plan licence can create up to three personal developer environments.

So:

Standard environments → limited by tenant Dataverse capacity.

Developer environments (Developer Plan) → maximum 3 per licensed user.

Are you trying in Trail Environment ?

If yes, then its MS DB will only allow you to use 1GB.
