powerapps saves wrong time to sahrepoint list

Hi,

I have a simple powerapp connected to a sharepoin list. On the powerapps form, I have a datetime drop down and based on this article, I converted it to 12 hour clock and works great. The only issue I see is with the time, so while submitting 9/13/2020 9 am as time, it gets saved as 9/13/2020 6 am in sharepoint, sharepoint time zone is set to eastern time so not following why is it logging inaccurate time? Can someone please help and assist.

Hi @Anonymous :

The cause of this problem is that your device and SharePoint Site are not in the same time zone.

There are two solutions:

Solution1:Set your SharePoint time zone to the time zone of your current device

Solution2:Modify the date to upload

Change the Update property of the data card to

DateAdd(DateValue1.SelectedDate + Time(If(AMPMValue1.Selected.Value = "PM", 12, 0) + Mod(Value(HourValue1.Selected.Value), 12), Value(MinuteValue1.Selected.Value), 0),3,Hours)
