Can't compare a number converted from text because of the whitespace

Dear all,

I'm using PAD. My goal is to convert a text like "3 831" to a number "3831" and then compare it to another number  by using  IF with operator "greater then or equal to".

I tried converting by "convert text to number", but the whitespace did not let that happen,

then I tried replacing whitespace by using this:

It didn't work as well. Whitespace disappeared, but PA still does not see it as "3831"

Please help me out!
Best regards,
Peter

    Hi there,

I think you share the same issue with this poster, and they have a solution:
