Copy & Create New Task List

I might have gone about this the wrong way (newbie here). I created an on-boarding task list in a SharePoint site. I wanted to make it a template to reuse for each new employee - but there is no template available in my settings. I read somewhere it has to do with the type of site I chose to use.

I tried setting up the following flow: when a new item is created in Employee Directory it would get the items in the orientation task list to create a new task list named "First Name Last Name + Orientation", but no luck in getting it to work or finding documentation if this is possible. I attempted to do it, but received errors.

Am I doing trying to do something that can't be done, or is there a better way to have a reusable task list? It's important to us to have the links to the sections so I don't think Planner is the way to go for this. Orientation Task ListOrientation Task List

@gyongue  the list in your Get items is wrong, you should just select the name of the relevant list from the dropdown, not type in a full url as you've done. So click the X then select Orientation from the dropdown.

Then in your Create item you should again be selecting the List name, then it will give you the columns in that list and you can select from the dynamic content the item to go in each column.

You can't actually create a list in Power Automate, just update one that you've already created. The Create item is for creating an item in a list, not for creating the list itself.
