I am very new to workflows but just set up a travel approval flow from the template. I changed the "manager" option to pick up the authoriser field from the list. It is requesting the approval okay, but when it accepts the answer, it is not notifying the requestor of the outcome. This is the error.
I don't understand the error message.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks - that suggestion worked and I now understand the system a little better.
Thanks very much @Gopala_Krishna, I will give that a try. The Mail connector was the original item set up on the template from O365, so I had assumed it would have worked.
It seems that you are using the MAIL connector to send out the email after the approval process.
Instead of that please try replacing the MAIL connector with the OFFICE 365 OUTLOOK connector to send emails.
With that you should be able to send emails with out any issues.
