Few Flows are running longer than expected

Hi All,

I have a simple Flow where it triggers Email to the Submitter who is creating a ticket in SharePoint i.e., when an item is  created it will send Emails.

Everything was going good but suddenly from last week few of the tickets which we created is running for long hours and not sending the mails and few of them sending mails properly.

Why it is happening so? How to fix this issue? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Regards,

Prakash M

    @Anonymous few questions:

    1. How often does your flow trigger?

    2. Does your flow has apply to each action and how many times does it loop for a specific flow instance?

    3. What Power Automate license is assigned to user which is configured in flow trigger?

    Hi @annajhaveri ,

    1. Whenever a ticket is created in Power Apps/SharePoint my flow gets Triggered.

    2. Yes, My flow has apply to Each - It is for the requestor columns and generally there might be 1 or 2 requestor(s) so 1 or 2 loop.

    3. Plan -Per User Plan.

    Regards,

    Prakash

@Anonymous , so the flow trigger is PowerApp or SharePoint Item created? Also how many flows are getting triggered in a min?

    Hi @annajhaveri ,

The flow trigger is -- Whenever a new item is created in SharePoint it will send an Email notification to Requestor(s).

We also created a power apps form whose source is the same SharePoint list. So even if any user go to SharePoint list or Power Apps form either way a ticket will get created in SharePoint and requestor will we receiving a notification Email.

How many flow will get in a minute -- there will be around 30 tickets will get created in one Day. So 30 times that flow will get triggered in one day.

It is taking time in Send Email notification steps where we have "apply to each".

Also i am getting email saying "Your Flow needs attention, It started experiencing issues".

@Anonymous Refer to this documentation, it looks like your flow is reaching throttling limits https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/sendmail/#limits
