Have my update function write to SharePoint

Hello,

I currently have a App that has a data source to SP that I am having trouble with. I cant seem to get my function to dipslay in SP when I submit the form.

It wont show at first but if i go back into the app and into the detail screen, edit an existing doc, then resubmit, it will write to SP

How can I make it so that when the form is submitted the first time, all the information writes to SP?

Please let me know if you have any further questions

Hi @Anonymous ,

Are you using the standalone app or the custom form created from SharePoint list site directly?

My understanding is that you cannot add new items to SharePoint list but you can edit the items and submit it, right?

I am using a stand alone app that uses data cards from my data source (SP). I added a new field in SP then refreshed my app to add the card. I cant seem to get the function to work properly. Should I try testing with a field that already exhists?

Please try to delete the whole edit form and readd it to have a test.
