Hello, we currently have a flow set up so that an employee can report that they are going to be out sick by creating an entry in a SharePoint list. Currently it notifies management by a teams message and email. We would also like to integrate it with our Shifts. Before I don't believe it was possible to create a time off instance via Power Automate connections but now it looks like it is.
What we would like to do is have it Add a Time Off instance for the person submitting that they'll be off sick, and then if possible move their scheduled shift to an open shift. We currently only have one-time off reason labeled "Off". A few parts I'm getting stuck at:
1. How to get the time off reason ID so I can create a new time off instance..
2. Is it possible to un-assign and set a shift to open using power automate, if not could I delete the shift and then create a new one that is set to open?
Thanks in advance for assistance.
