Creating a Flow for Email Reminder for Due Date

Hello,

I am very new to Power Automate, but I am trying to set up a flow to send out email reminders 30 days prior to the due date. I actually have the flow set up and running but I have a couple of questions/issues.

First, I am not sure if I set up the recurrence correctly. Right now I have it set to every day, but I'd like to have it run just once a week. My question is if I do weekly, will it pick up all the dates within that week or just the date that the flow is running? For example, if I have the dates listed as 2/19 and 2/21 and I run the flow on 2/20, will it send it to both or neither ?

I also have a couple of vendors that have the same due date so it is sending out multiple emails to the same person even though they have different contact information. The flow will send 4 emails out, 2 are correct, 2 are incorrect with mismatched information of the other provider.

For example:

Provider A, reminder date: 09/10/2023,

Provider B, reminder date: 09/10/2023,

on the reminder date:

Provider A receives two emails one with correct information, one with information of Provider B

I hope this all makes sense. Thanks in advance! 🙂

    Hi @GabrielaT

I made a template for your reference

    Here is sharepoint list

    Here is flow

Use the filter query to filter out the records of the next month

reminderdate gt '@{addToTime(utcNow('yyyy-MM-dd'),1,'Month')}' and reminderdate lt '@{addToTime(addDays(utcNow('yyyy-MM-dd'),7),1,'Month')}'

Because a Provider may have multiple pieces of information, the Provider and the corresponding Email [Select] will be displayed.

Remove duplicate Providers through the union() formula

Filter the records through the filter array

    Hi @v-chengfen-msft

I was wondering if you might be able to help me with the same issue. When I try to format the expression for mine it says invalid expression. I want to send an email 4 weeks before the edited text due date to a specific user.
