    Hi @DML1 ,

Not sure how the compose action is obtaining the input value but you could use some of the string functions in the expression to remove the parenthesis and other unnecessary characters.

    Please check:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/logic-apps/workflow-definition-language-functions-reference#string-functions

    Thanks and Regards,

    Vikas K

Thanks Vikas for the response. Attached are the part of flow... Ignore the html table part in the last image.

Subject is one of the column from excel table. Union function used for unique email id.

From filter array used select action to pick up subject column...item()['Subject'] and then compose.

Added the output of compose action in the subject line of the email.

Thank you so much for the effort Bof. I am not able to see the replace expression clearly when I zoom the text. Please share the replace expression as text.

I got the workaround to remove the array characters from subject line but still [" "] exist.

    Pls refer the below link

    Hi @DML1 :

After reading the connection you provided, I realized that the output of compose you mentioned is an array.

Could you show me the complete out put of this action?

Pls find the input and output of select and compose action

In the 2nd image you can see the output has array/object symbols [ ] same thing along with " reflecting in subject line of the email.

    DML

    Hi @DML1 ,

I've made a test but there is no '[' or ']' besides the 'Open':

Is it because I used concat formula(combing multiple columns) in excel table under Subject column to get unique subject?

    But concate formula doesn't have [ ] and ".

If my assumption is correct then pls help me to to resolve this Bof?

    Hi @DML1 :

    Please try:

    replace(replace('[""OPEN','[',''),'"','')

    Best Regards,

Sorry Bof if I am asking a silly question. I am not clear how can I use the Replace function because how to insert a replace expression within output of select or compose.

In your flow you directly used a text in compose, mine is not the same case as mentioned in my previous reply
