DropDown Item + Valeur from Sql Server Collection

Hi everyone 
 
I need to realize a dropdown from data incoming from collection from sql server. 
 
Col1 : "description" 
Col 2 " value"
 
On items field i succeed to show something with 
Distinct(carriers;carrier_id) but how can i specify the column 2 as a value column )

    Sorry but what you have is really confusing.
     
    You said you wanted to fill a drop down with the values from SQL. Then you showed us 2 Columns, Description and value
    Then you put a Totally different value into the Drop down.
     
    Please clarify what you want bound to the Dropdown and what you want seen?
