Convert image to binary data, and store into virtual datatable, and upload to sharepoint

I've a PAD flow where it takes screenshot of a website and convert the image file to binary data and stores into a datatable in PAD with other data in it. The data will be uploaded to a SharePoint list by using the Create item connector.

The problem that I am having is that the "Image" column in SharePoint is not showing up in the "Create Item" connector in PA. I understand that this is a known issue but can someone tell me if there is a column type in SharePoint that I can use for storing the binary data of the image?

    Hi @nicklim

You may use 'Add attachment' action to add files to a SharePoint list item after creating it.

Here, Id field you can pass the ID of the newly created item from the output of 'Create item' action. Also pass the file name and binary file content to add the attachment.

For more details on add attachment action, pls follow the below link:

If this helps, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

    Hi @ManishSolanki

I think I might be missing something here sorry.

For further clarification, I have a flow that runs once a day where it scrape data from a website. The amount of data that it scrapes are averagely 3k+ with 92 different screenshots daily.

Currently, I am storing the screenshots taken by PAD to a SharePoint list folder by using these actions in PAD. I've multiple of the below actions in my PAD flow and this is just the one of them for your reference.

But what I am really trying to achieve here was mentioned in my original post. So If I were to use the "Add Attachment" action that you mentioned in PA, would that still work? If so, where should the  "Add Attachment" action goes into? e.g after or before "Create item" under "Apply to each"

    I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks

    Nick
