Is it possible to create a randomized quiz/poll with Power Automate, and post it in Teams?

Hello, all!

I'm extremely new with Power Automate, and practically lack any knowledge on it. But I am looking to learn.

Currently all I've been able to do is implement a randomized flow that will select an array at random and post it on a teams chat everyday. Basically I made a randomized daily reminder flow.

Now, I am trying to see if it's possible to create a flow that will create a quiz/poll/forms, with randomized questions/options, and post it on a Teams group chat?

I'm trying to create a daily quiz for a group of people and that way keep them engaged and their knowledge fresh. But like I mentioned before, I severely lack the knowledge, so I can't seem to figure it out by myself. Haven't found anything similar on the internet, so at this point I'm not even sure if it's possible.

    Hi @BCarambot ,

I trust you are good, You have an interesting use case scenario.

It would be a nice idea to have automate automatically creating random polls or quiz, Just like you said, I doubt you may see relevant scenario on that being done.

However here is a proposed solution for you.

    1. You could have a scheduled flow that triggers based on a specific column which would be your date column.

You can prepare a spreadsheet or list with the questions set (As many as possible), the date it should be delivered, the options and the answer.
    2. Have a list rows present in a table action (If you are using Excel) or get items action if you are using Sharepoint.
Under the filter query option in the action (You can create an expression that checks if the date column is eq 'to the current UTC".
    3. Once that has been achieved. You can have a post a message on a channel action, Select the dynamic content for the question, and the option set. (That would ensure the question is dropped in the channel for that particular day)

    4. You can set a delay action for engagement purpose so this would limit the flow from dropping the answer to immediately . After the delay action you can have another post a message on a chat action and drop the answer dynamic content inside that chat.

Kindly feel free to like my response and mark my response as a solution to aid others with similar request in the community easily resolve them.

Hi Joseph! Thank you so much for responding!

I'm saddened that it seems it's currently not possible to do as I described it, currently. But your proposed solution does open some interesting alternatives and I am sure to put it to practice and see how it goes!

    Thank you!
