Hi, I want to create a power automate to create Sharepoint folder with name bases on the date the folder create?  For example, it create a folder with name 10-17-2022 on next Monday and another one with name 10-24-2022 on the following Monday and repeat each Monday.  is that possible?

thank you in advance for helping.

    Hey @NYOps-2022

You can use utcNow('MM-dd-yyyy') in the name field to name it as the current date.

You can make the flow scheduled and run it once a week on every Monday.

Currently I am travelling so, I cannot show you everything. As Expressions are not available on mobile.

Here is how your trigger should look like.

You can use your time zone and if it does not work. Also provide start time.

After this use action create new folder. And select the site address, and the library.

After that click on folder path. In it write:

    /utcNow('MM-dd-yyyy')

Above, the part after slash(/), write it in expressions. When you click the field, a small window will open on left side would be written dynamic and on right would be written expressions and write the utc part in that.

If you get an error in create new folder. Remove that slash, I think it's not required. And don't forget to write the utc part in expression.

If the above works, you can mark this as the solution. And if you liked the explanation you can give a kudo. It helps. Much appreciated.  🙂

thank you again @Sundeep_Malik it works but the folder name only include the date and the year.  the month is always not correct.  I try to switch the mm-dd around but it always pickup the wrong data for mm.  look like it pick up the minutes for the 'MM' instead the month.

Can you show a screenshot how you have use it in the expression?

Or just type what you are writing in expression.

Capital Ms (MM) are for months

    and

    Lower ms(mm) are for minutes

Everywhere I wrote, capital MM in the solution, and at the end you wrote small mm on your own and then marked your comment as the answer. I don't think that's fair.
